Hamburg // A Creative City

By

Hamburg is a surprising place. We made a stop in Hamburg at the end of our Scandinavian roadtrip on our way home in 2015. A great final of an amazing trip! In this post a small update about the cool places to go. Planning a new visit soon! Hamburg is one of those cities that need ‘unpacking’ neighbourhood by neighbourhood. It’s all there, but this city is revealed best when taking time, wandering or biking in the quarters next to the Altstadt or Neustadt. Favourites are Schanzen- & Karolinenviertel and St. Georg.

A must go exhibition!

Surrender // Tefaf 2016

By

Tefaf 2016. While some argue that the concept of Tefaf should be renewed and the art fair should close its doors to traders who are not focused on high end art only, others state never to change the winning concept of the world famous art trade show. To me Tefaf Maastricht remains overwhelming and a unique event. Be ready for a lot of pixels when visiting Tefaf; a high density art experience…

// Be cool in Milano //

By

Feeling cool in Milan isn’t difficult. Not only because this northern Italian city combines the famous Italian fashion flair with a rough sexiness; Milan offers so many authentic places and hip hotspots, you will feel the Italian power right away. Put your sunglasses and walking shoes on, or your highest heels if you want to be Italian ‘in cognito’. Sharing some of the places we spotted in Milan this November…
